The heavy duty, hand crank Slide Gate Assembly is designed to shut off the flow of material from the discharge of the Spiral Silo for times when servicing, cleaning or equipment changes are required. The Slide Gate includes provisions for bolting between the discharge flange of the Silo and the industry standard 16” square bolt pattern of a Vacuum Take-Off Box.
Vacuum Take-Off Box:
The Vacuum Take-Off Box allows smooth material flow by manually adjusting the amount of material to be conveyed in proportion to the inlet air used for vacuum conveying.
High Level Indicator:
This rotary level sensor is mounted on the roof of the Spiral Silo and will send a signal when the material in the silo reaches the high level. The customer can connect this signal to a warning light and/or horn, or use the signal to stop the loading of material into the silo.
Low Level Indicator:
This rotary type level sensor is mounted on the side wall of the Spiral Silo and will send a signal when the material in the silo reaches a low level condition. The customer can connect this signal to a warning light and/or horn.
Yo-Yo Material Level System:
The Yo-Yo Material Level Sensors are designed to provide accurate, reliable inventory information for the Spiral Silo. This unit is mounted on the silo roof and lowers a plastic weight down into the Spiral Silo until it touches the plastic material in the silo. Once it touches the material, a signal is sent to the Display/Programmer Control.
Display / Programmer Control:
This unit allows the operator to configure a single sensor or a whole system. An adjustable autotimer allows the user to set automatic measurement cycles ranging from 2 minutes to 1 week. While in operating mode, the display will show the sensor address, sensor name, percentage, display mode and the status of the current device. This Control can monitor up to 99 Yo-Yo sensor units at a distance of up to 4,000 feet.
